The vehicle he uses normally will come normally via the old Thrissur highway which is not part of the new bye-pass. Then his vehicle uses the new road for may be 3 to 4 km before he takes left at Aamballoor junction. He has to pay a toll of Rs 85 for this 3 Kms. Had there been service road made, he could have used the service road.
Now another case. A person traveling from say Amaballoor to Chalakkudy is not using the entire highway for which Rs85 is being collected. He should charged only on pro-rata basis, like the L&T road in Coimbatore.
Umman Chandy had adequately proved that he is a useless Chief Minister in his last term as Chief Minister. This time he is again declaring this loudly and revealing in it. Our people should think before we vote these idiots to power.
We should collectively think about moving court for justice. If a person using this highway from Angamali to Amballoor, he need not pay a single rupee as Toll. However a person, say travelling from calicut wants to go to varandarappilly, has to use this road for nearly 3 to 4 km, has to pay Rs85. Where is justice in this. The toll plazas should be locate every 5 or 10 kms as in coimbatore by pass made by L&T.
